Kingfishers have chosen the book Kicked Out for their next class read. We were lucky enough to have a personalised video message from the author A. M Dassu talking out her books and why she chose to be an author.
Year 5 programmed Crumble Kits with Sparkles, motors and switches attached to create rotating, colour changing fairground rides or disco balls that used an on/off switch.
Year 5 were lucky enough to have Danielle and Jamie from Bedworth Fire Service visit to discuss the importance of fire, water and railway safety, along with highlighting the seriousness of hoax calls.
As part of our Science topic, the children have been learning about the components in blood. The children then had to explain the function of each component to earn it before making their own 'blood soup'.
