Nurture Nursery is part of St Michael’s vibrant and successful school, where the education, health, emotional and spiritual wellbeing of our children and families, is at the heart of everything we do.
The teaching and learning in Nurture Nursery is of the highest standard and this is reflected in the progress all of our children make whilst in Nurture Nursery and then in school.
This kind of success does not happen by chance. It is happening here because parents, children and staff are all working together to grow a community of learners who have high aspirations and are striving to improve, from; The Children & Family Centre and Nurture Nursery, through to Year 6 and beyond. During their time in Nurture Nursery children are encouraged to reflect on the choices we all have to make in life and are encouraged to respect and value the world around them.
The children’s attitude to learning is something we are all very proud of and is often commented upon by visitors. St Michael’s is full of resilient, hard-working children who enjoy being challenged. We believe in providing our children with the skills and attitude they will need to succeed in an ever changing world and this starts in our 'outstanding' NURTURE NURSERY.
