Community

We are part of a proud community, at the centre of the town's coal mining and ribbon weaving history and are situated near to the town's canal. The majority of our families come from the local area and we are immensely proud to see generations and generations of the same families come through our doors. As well as our local families, we are delighted that our growing reputation for excellence has bought families from further afield. All of our families are important to us and we work extremely closely with parents and carers to achieve the best outcomes for our children.

Part of our community role is to provide support through our children's centre and our family support team. Our centre is a hub of activity: from ante-natal classes, to adult education; from community cafe to computer access - there is something for everyone. We serve our community by being an open, understanding and safe place for our many families.

Some of our other wider community work involves the hosting of a "Community Fun Day" every year where families from all over the town come together to share in our wonderful facilities: meeting guide dogs, bouncy castles, the hedgehog rescue society, the famous 'Hula-hoop Man' are just some of the activities available for free to all. The community fun day also showcases our 3G pitch, which is home to many local football teams as their training ground, as well as being an excellent facility for our school sports programme. Along with this, we support local dance groups and cheer squads, helping them to fundraise for their tours and sponsoring their members.

Within our wider school community, we work together to strive for excellence for all. We are part of the Nicholas Chamberlaine Trust Foundation and work with a network of church schools in Bedworth to provide a education rooted in Christian values. Furthermore, we are part of the Bedworth consortium, where we work with a larger group of schools to continue to develop teaching and learning across all primary education settings in our town. Beyond this and into the wider community, we are part of the Coventry Diocese Multi Academy Trust and are privileged to work with the Diocesan Board of Education to cultivate the Christian mission within our school.
