| At St. Michael’s Academy wehave a broad and exciting Physical Education curriculum. Pupils take part in a variety of topics such as Gymnastics, Table Tennis, Hockey, Badminton, Cricket, Football, Rugby, Netball, Tennis, Rounders, Dance, Athletics and many more. We are lucky to have a large amount of equipment and fantastic sporting facilities with two football pitches, a 400m grass athletics running track and indoor hall. We offer sports clubs every lunchtime and have different clubs running after school Monday to Friday. In the past few years the pupils at St. Michael’s Academy have flourished in lessons and after school clubs and have had consistent success in the local area in a range of sporting competitions. We have also be fortunate enough to represent the county in Rugby, X-Country, Football and Rounders competitions. We also run sports trips throughout the year where our pupils have enjoyed watching England cricketers play at Lords as well as the mens tennis final at Wimbledon to name but a few. |
